SUR LES TRACES DE DINOZORD

Since the creation in 2006 a great deal has happened involving the whole team of Dinozord. Serge Kakudji, untrained in 2006, has gained an international reputation as a countertenor (for example in Alain Platel’s pitie!). Maurice Papy Mbwiti toured Flanders with the KVS production A l’attente du Livre d’Or, although what appeals most to the imagination is the fate of the writer Antoine Vumilia Muhindo, who in 2006 was still incarcerated at Makala, a notorious Congolese prison. Vumi has meanwhile escaped, disguised as a woman.

But have things also changed for the Congo since 2006? With the same cast, Faustin Linyekula takes another close look at his country, at Kisangani, where he comes from, which is beset by war after war. Dancers and actors roam through a landscape of ruins in search of what remains of their dreams.

SUR LES TRACES DE DINOZORD

Un spectacle tonique, multiforme, plein de sursauts, de révolte, un spectacle qui bouscule les idées toutes faites sur l’art africain. – Rue du Théâtre

Cela fait longtemps que Faustin Linyekula, grand chorégraphe congolais, de renommée internatio- nale, danseur et artiste de théâtre est un habitué de KVS. Dinozord: the Dialogue Series iii. a été créé à Vienne en 2006 pour le New Crowned Hope Festival de Peter Sellars, et invité e.a. au Festival d’Avignon. Cinq ans après, Faustin retrouve son équipe éparpillée entre la France, la Belgique, la Suède et le Congo. Il raconte et représente une nouvelle version du retour au pays natal, à Kisangani. Au son du Requiem de Mozart, interprété en direct par le contre-ténor Serge Kakudji (e.a. dans pitié! d’Alain Platel), les danseurs et les acteurs évoluent dans un paysage de ruines, à la recherche des vestiges de leurs rêves.

Kwa muda mrefu Faustin Linyekula kubwa Kongo choreographer, mashuhuri wa kimataifa dancer na msanii ukumbi wa michezo ni KVS mara kwa mara. Dinozord: Dialogue Series iii. ilianzishwa mjini Vienna mwaka 2006 kwa ajili ya tamasha New taji Tumaini, Petro Sellars, na Wengine walioalikwa tamasha d\’Avignon. Miaka mitano baadaye, timu yake Faustin kupatikana waliotawanyika kati ya Ufaransa, Ubelgiji, Sweden na Kongo. Yeye anasema na inaonyesha toleo jipya la kurudi nyumbani, katika Kisangani. Kwa sauti ya Requiem Mozart, kutumbuiza live na Tenor dhidi ya Serge Kakudji (Wengine katika huruma Alain Platel), wachezaji na watendaji kufuka katika mazingira ya magofu katika kutafuta mabaki ya ndoto zao.

AUF DEN SPUREN DER Dinozord

Tonic zeigen, facettenreich, voller platzt der Rebellion, eine Show, die vorgefassten Meinungen über Herausforderungen afrikanischer Kunst. – Street Theatre

Für eine lange Zeit Faustin Linyekula große kongolesische Choreograf, Tänzer und international renommierte Künstler Theater ist ein regelmäßiger KVS. Dinozord: die Dialogue Series iii. wurde 2006 in Wien für die New Crowned Hope Festival, Peter Sellars, ua eingeladen zum Festival d\’Avignon gegründet. Fünf Jahre später, fand sein Team Faustin verstreut zwischen Frankreich, Belgien, Schweden und dem Kongo. Er sagt und zeigt eine neue Version der Rückkehr in die Heimat, in Kisangani. Beim Klang von Mozarts Requiem, live gespielt vom Tenor gegen Serge Kakudji (ua in Mitleid Alain Platel), Tänzer und Schauspieler in einer Landschaft von Trümmern auf der Suche nach den Überresten ihrer Träume zu entwickeln.

Er is sinds de creatie in 2006 veel gebeurd voor de ploeg van Dinozord. De toen ongeschoolde Serge Kakudji is ondertussen een contratenor met internationale allure (oa. in pitié! van Alain Platel). Maurice Papy Mbwiti reisde heel Vlaanderen rond met de KVS-productie A l’attente du Livre d’Or. Maar het meest tot de verbeelding spreekt wel het lot van schrijver Antoine Vumilia Muhindo die in 2006 nog gevangen zat in Makala, een gruwel van een Congolese gevangenis. Ondertussen is deze Vumi ontsnapt, verkleed als vrouw.

Maar is er ook veel veranderd voor Congo sinds 2006? Faustin Linyekula maakt, met dezelfde cast, een nieuwe stand van zaken over zijn land, over thuisstad Kisangani, waar oorlog na oorlog overheenspoelt. Door een landschap van ruïnes dwalen dansers en acteurs op zoek naar wat er rest van hun dromen.
